I discovered this saved in drafts from almost a year ago. It is almost Adam's seventh birthday now. I feel it necessary to post these birthday wishes before another moment goes by.
Six is a big number when you are small. I gave up hope of Adam reaching six feet when he was two feet at two and not growing. Now that he is in kindergarten and the next shortest kid is a head taller we are hoping for five feet. His small stature, however, does not indicate the stature if his spirit. His abilities more than compensate for his height. He loves math and recess. He often wishes that he could eat school lunch so that he could have lunch recess like the other kids.
Adam requested two things for his birthday, a "Dusty" plane and a magnifying glass. He has been playing with them ever since he found them during boola boola. Cousin Tia loved playing and helping him find his gifts since it had been so long since the last time she played. She even helped blow up the puncha-punchas. What a girl.
We love our Adam and can't picture our lives without him.
