Not quite de ja vu (if at all) et al.
Are you a sensory person? Over the last year, I think I've had more occurrences of smells, sounds and images that have made me recollect events from my childhood. Even the feel of the weather makes me recollect things. The smell of the country, the stars in the nights, the sun shining in the morning, the smell of certain foods all bring vivid memories. I don't want this to make you worried that I'm pining for the past, but I wonder why it is happening. Any thoughts on that?
B had a huge part in his grades presentation of a scene from "A Midsummers Night Dream." There was a presentation from the kids on Thursday evening, and Bennett's death scene made everyone crack up (they were supposed to). He didn't seem to have any inhibitions about wearing a pink dress, either.
As a sidenote, Michelle's allergic reaction to her nausea patch has continued to worsen. She now oozes through her wound which makes the patch fall off! If it isn't one thing, it's another. At least it's beautiful weather.
Michelle's walking friends: Michelle's energy level is so low she won't be able to walk w/ you-- she does her best to just get dressed.
So sorry to hear. Michelle we miss you. I am sorry we haven't gotten over to see you, Like I said I would. Things here have been a little crazy when I try to get out the door.
ReplyDeletewhat does the Dr. say about that reaction? is it the medicine itself or the adhesive? Latex?
ReplyDeleteWhy is nothing ever easy???
Way to go B! How awesome for kids to do Shakespeare.
ReplyDeleteToo bad about the patch--I guess every rose has it's thorns. T has a good point--maybe it's the latex.
BD has a high tuned sense of smell. Maybe you two are turning into superheroes or werewolves...
Can you stick it under her nose? Just thinking of solutions...
ReplyDeleteAs far as you delving into your past--me thinks you have some unresolved issues and the only solution is penance to those you've wronged. Starting with me. Your welcome for the therapy.
