The Real Meaning of Fatigue

I am so tired.  My body aches.  My brain hurts.  I haven't had a bath in four days because I have no clothes that fit and all my pj's are dirty.  Esther and Bennett missed school this week because they threw up.  JD is gaining weight, but I am still supposed to take it easy and my house is completely messy because of it.  Any volunteers for help?  I need a nap.  I need a break.  I want to go watch the Harry Potter movie and close my eyes during the nude cartoon scene.
Okay, so I laid it on thick, but I really do need help, and a bath, so that I can take better care of my kids and husband.  I hate asking for help.  Usually when I do ask for help I don't get it, so it is hard for me to even ask.  Can anyone take Adam next week for a few hours so that I can get a nap and laundry put away?  If not, no big deal.  I'll just do what I've been doing and hope Trent can do more.  It will build character.  JD is screaming, got to go.

  1. Good luck getting that bath! Hopefully Trent will be around this weekend? Weeks with sick kids and sore/tired Mom NO FUN! You're strong...everything is better when you're clean and rested!

  4. Oh...that brings back bad memories of getting mastitis 3 times when Claire was a newborn and all the world was dreary and cold. Maybe some Christmas music is in order...Good luck!

  5. Good luck this weekend! JD is still a handsome dude, so don't worry about the balding. Dylan just started to re-grow his frontal hair so it's a slow process!
