Three Weeks and Counting

My beautiful baby is now three weeks old and opens his eyes more than once a day.  He makes the funniest faces when he sleeps and we wonder what special dream he is having.  His right ear failed the newborn hearing screening and we have the re-screening this afternoon at 4:30.  We were supposed to go last Thursday, but I thought the appointment was for Friday and missed it.  I was sooooo tired.  This week I feel so much better.  I took it easy and now I feel rested enough that I can cook dinner and fold laundry (not carry it, of course).
My Dad is doing well, also.  He walks on the treadmill several times a day and is up to 10 minutes at physical therapy.  He will soon be able to go back to work for half days.  Good thing he can do most of his work from his laptop.  We live in such an amazing world that a man can have heart surgery and still be keeping up at work from home.  I am so grateful.  Our family has had more than its' share of blessings     lately and I hope it continues (the alternative is too scary to think about).

  2. You should post similar-age photos of each of your boys and see if you can tell them apart.
Glad your dad's doing so well.
