Super-heros in this house:
Cheetahra aka Esther
Dog-o-mite aka Bennett
Super Doggie aka Ava
Little Mittens aka Adam
We are potty training hence the lack of communication. I absolutely hate potty training with every fiber of my being. We are somewhat successful with number 1, but nowhere close with number 2. Big T is making up songs and chants about bodily functions and where they go. Ugh. Like I said, I hate this period in my kids' lives.
Instructions on the worksheet: Draw a picture of something bigger than you.
Ava: I'm bigger than poo.
Me: Then that's not an option for your worksheet.
Ava: Then I don't know what to draw.
Me: How old are you?
Neighbor boy: Big.
The Baby is now 8 months old. Can you believe it? He is eating some table foods like bananas, pears, plain noodles, cheerios, and the like. He is still small, shocker, but he can sit up and crawl in a circle. He loves Trot, Trot, Trot to Dover, patty cake, and baby dance. He loves to pull hair and necklaces. His laugh sounds like a machine gun.
Ava turned 6 in June and she thinks she is hot stuff. We went to the zoo the week before and I got a tiger mood ring that I wear all the time. It matches everything because it changes color. Score. Ava chose a four colored pen and has already lost it. Shocker. She loves to swim, grunt and make me guess what she wants, play baseball with the neighbors, and play on the slip-n-slide. She will not wear anything that helps her look like a girl, loves to wear Bennett's cowboy boots, and she hates pink. She finally reads on level and we couldn't be more pleased. She is becoming a very charming little girl.
That is a darn cute baby picture!
ReplyDeleteAva's comment made me laugh. It must be forefront on everyone's mind if T is making up jingles about it.
Good luck over there with the training, and treat yourself to a play or something, after.
I won't try to come up with a potty pun for that.
I can't believe your baby is 8 months. He is pretty cute.
ReplyDeleteBest o'luck on the potty training. I hear you on being out of the world when you're doing that business. My brain was consumed constantly with all things related to Syd's bowels a couple months ago.
We still have non-stop potty humor going on with our kids. Really, really trying to stop it. Good luck to you!
ReplyDeletePotty training has never hit my list of favorite things to do, that's for sure. It's sure nice when it's done! It must be nice to have a few super heroes around to help save the day! The pictures were great.
