Did You Know the DMV is NOT Open on Fridays?!

     Did you know the DMV is not open on Friday?  Yeah, that's right.  I waste my whole afternoon getting Trent's car caught up on it's maintenence issues and inspected and the DMV is not open!  I was late getting home and the school kids got there before me.  I hate that.  I miss them at the cross roads and I get nothing from them about their lives.  GRRRR.  Can you tell I hate taking little kids who eat food off the floor to places that take forever and are not hygenic or that have nothing for kids to do?  Yes, yes I do.
     I also wrestled over the phone with two insurance issues with two different companies.  Great news I got our kids insurence reinstated.  Did you know that you have to be the squeaky wheel for six months before they will listen to you?  Yes, I called four times and the fourth one finally took.  They accidentally doubled Trent's income and created two different accounts so there was no moving forward until the account was consolodated and the income issue was settled.  Now we can go to the dentist four times next month and not have to pay for it.  (The appointment for all of them together was cancelled because of the wedding.  So now we have to go seperately.)  I can also take Adam to the Primary Children's Endochrinology clinic and not have to pay too much out of pocket for that expensive and probably painful trip.
     I paid two bills and ordered new checks.  I think I was spoied by my morning because I did it all on my cell phone and lap top from my bed.  I guess that's why Big O bothered me so much.  I had to get out of bed and keep my children from diving head first into the trash can.  (Yes, JD dove right in.)  No wonder they have toy and candy machines, the wait takes hours.  If I ran the world I would make it less time consuming for people with special needs, like pregos or moms with kids or old people, I would also make the waiting room less dirty.  I woould have entertainment and only a two minute wait.  Yeah right.  Even if I ran the world that wouldn't be possible.  But, hey, a girl can dream.
     Did you also know that 50% off Easter candy tastes better than full price candy? I am now fond of Reaster Bunnies (Easter bunnies made by Reeses) and Starburst jelly beans.  Not so much a fan of Lifesaver jelly beans.  But neither have black ones, so that is a plus for both of them.
     I am also a fan of free kindle books off Amazon.  You do have to be careful, though.  Just because you type in Christian or LDS fiction does not mean that the characters behave morally.  I think I need to wash out my eyes with soap.  Don't worry, it'll never happen again and I don't need an intervention. I will now only get free books from tried and true authors.  Such a temptaion, though, it's free and I can always delete it late if it turns out raunchy.  But, no, I will not temp myself just becaue the book is free.  No need to get hooked on something or have it run through my mind so that the Spirit leaves.  You all know how much I need the Spirit to function.  How hard would nmy life be without it?  I don't want to even think about it.
