General Conference

I don't know who spoke when I heard this because I ran to my car in between speakers and missed his name, but it is the talk that is still with me.  He said that we sometimes feel that we cannot be forgiven for the repetitive mistakes we make because we keep making them.  That is not true; we are supposed to forgive 70 times 7.  If that is true of us, don't you think that God is even more forgiving than we are supposed to be?  I give myself a hard time about all the stupid things that I do or the good things I don't do because I feel God has lost patience with me.  I should be over my habit of depression by now and be the person I am inside already.  That is not true.  He loves me and will never lose patience with me.  If I come to Him with my troubles and sins, He will help me to overcome them.  I can't do it without Him and He will forgive me.
