Walk a Mile in My Flip Flops

Yesterday was a busy day for me.  I needed to go to the gym, find sponsors for the show, and get the car inspected and registered.  I tried to kill two birds with one stone by walking around town while the car was getting fixed (of course it needed that too) to get the sponsors.  If JD hadn't pooped out and wanted me to carry him, if I wasn't wearing flip flops, and if everyone hadn't kept saying no I would not have had a mild cardiac event and needed a foot amputation.  Have you ever tried to sell something with two little boys and sweat dripping off your face.  No wonder people kept saying no.
So I've decided, yet again, to be for understanding of others silly mistakes and not think ill of them when they make said mistakes.  No more, "Why would he/she do such a stupid thing?"  It's probably because things turned out differently than they had planned.  I've cured myself of road rage when I got upset at Carolee Heelis and didn't know it was her.  I can cure myself of bystander judgment as well.

  1. Give yourself a million or more points for getting out there and trying. Things just don't always work out as well as we'd wish. Your post just reminded me that I need to take the van in. Inspection time! I hope that today is lovely for you. You're awesome!
