This Christmas season finds me in a generous mood. I not talking about money; I'm talking about doing something for someone they can't do for themselves. In that way I can give the best of myself to Him. In what ways can you "play your best for Him?" How do you plan on making this holiday season special for another?Monday, December 7, 2009
Rock On Little Drummer Boy
I love the Christmas song "The Little Drummer Boy." My mother hates it. I can't figure out why. She says it has nothing to do with the baby Jesus or Christmas. I disagree. I think the song is a metaphor for all of us. I too am lowly; my "job" is not glamorous or prestigious. But I do have a talent like the little drummer; I can be kind and loving, I can sing, I can serve those in need. In essence, I can "play my best for Him."

I think we're going to stick with having a be-nice-to person to help the atmosphere in our home and do some doorbell ditching around the ward. The kiddos love that.
