Happy Anniversary to Me

     Trent and I have been married 13 years today.  Let's hope good luck prevails this next year since I am not superstitious.  We met at church.  My friend graduated with him and said that I should get to know Trent because he was one of the good guys.  Coming from her that was a compliment.  So, being my friendly self I would interact with him at church.  I tntroduced myself in choir, "Hi.  I don't know you.  I'm Michelle Wilson."  He thought I was strange and relegated me to aquaintence for two months while he dated all my friends.  I finally got the opportunity to prove I wasn't from another planet and we started dating.  I highly recommend acting human when you meet new people that way they don't avoid you and you cultivate better friendships.
     We are going to celebrate this afternoon by going to an inexpensive restaurant without the kids.  The party is on, baby!  We may even go to the discount movie theater and see Les Miserables.  I have never read the book or seen any type of performance so I hope we can squeeze it in.  We are really lucky that Trent gets the day off every year.  We were only halfway stupid getting married over President's Day weekend.
