Not better. Why, you ask? Because my life is hard. It always has been. A minuscule amount of good happens and it's wiped out by a mountain of crap. No I haven't been taking my pills; I have the stomach flu. I was about to leave Trent a scathing message about bananas and then my neighbor stopped by with cookies. At least my boys will have something to snack on now. Her visit inspired me to try to scrounge up something to eat. I found a handful of pretzels. At least it's something. Let's just hope I don't regret eating them.
I decided I needed entertainment so I logged on. I saw a picture of Matt Damon with a toilet seat around his neck and I couldn't help but investigate. You should check out his fake press conference. I haven't laughed in days and I laughed so hard I still hurt.
I have always liked Matt Damon. I get upset at him because he makes inappropriate movies and he should know better. I am his fan therefore he should make only movies I like. Makes sense to me since I am at the center of the universe. He is older than me and that upsets me, too. (Yes, I am living in fantasy land right now. Starvation and lack of pills does that to you.) I think it has to do with his accomplishments and my lack, thereof. Anyway, what that has to do with him being older? Absolutely nothing, but it is connected in my mind somehow.
Chris Pine has been one of my favorites since Princess Diaries 2 (or as Ava calls it Princess Diarrheas). He is now the young Captain Kirk. Wow wee ladies. His role choices bother me as well, though. Why can't men who affect me do it in a clean way? I mean really, do all actors like being naked on screen? Put some clothes on and be an upstanding gentlemen. Hold open doors and don't try to get girls pregnant. Don't swear or do drugs. You are an example, for good or ill. You can't be both so make your choice.
I find it interesting that, as smart as these guys are, they don't see that refusing to use toilets to get others clean water is a great way to use fame, but some of the things they did to get famous promote the downfall of society. Their hypocricy is lost on them. So, because what I say matters to, well, only me (let's not kid ourselves), I say put your behavior where your mouth is.
** After I initially posted this my neighbor came back. She had called her hubby who was at the store and told him to buy me juice and crackers. Talk about putting your behavior where your mouth is. Good things do happen midst the mountain of crap. What a lesson for me.
** I take it back. Adam and JD drank all the juice before I could get more than an ounce in me.
What those handsome leading men need is an intervention with the young missionaries! Problem for them is their "accomplishments" (which don't matter really) will keep them from being humble enough to listen, right? But at least Matt Damon is married and has kids. He's got good things going on there.

I'm with cold cocoa about the leading men, and I think you are failing to notice that you DO have accomplishments! You graduated from college magna cum laude, you are married to a good man (even if when you don't feel good you feel grumpy at him), you have five awesome children, you have written a complete book (I've never pulled that off), and you hang in there through all of the hard things! Don't give up now!
