Any guesses?

What do you think this is a picture of?
Is it a bruise?
    No.
Is it a birthmark?
    No.
Is it a sunburn?
    No.
Three strikes and you're out.
It is marker in Sweet Boy's pit.  How, I wonder, did he manage to get marker there and only there?  I'm going to surmise that it means he is a genius.

Anyway, today is also a new day.  I slept in and missed my walk; I hate it when I do that. Walking with my friends in the morning gets the day off on the right foot.  I needed that today, especially because Big T is going camping with the YM.  He did get the kids to clean the playroom, the living room, and he did the dishes all while I went to the grocery store by myself. What a Man!  I certainly married the right one for me.
Well, I'm off to my free voice lesson--Best wishes for everyone's day.

Update:  At my voice lesson, Sweet Boy cried and fussed the whole time while A played in the nursery.  We went to fetch her.  I opened the door and gasped.  "Oh No," I whispered.  A was lying in the biggest pile of poop I had ever seen.  She was covered, as was the floor and the toys.  Of course, Sunday is the temple dedication and our sessions will have essence of feces as an added bonus.  Good thing we all bring hankies.  Next voice lesson a babysitter might be a better idea for all involved.

  1. I'm always so sad when I miss my walks too. We'll see if things get any better once Drew starts Head Start. I'm so glad you started blogging. Hopefully it'll be therapeutic, especially when you have stories like Ava's!!

  2. I was totally going to guess rugburn; glad it wasn't!
So sorry about Ava's bowel loosenings. Maybe being in nursery made her revert back to her toddler ways? Hope you had lots of Clorox wipes handy.
Voice lessons sounds like a fun activity for you.

  3. I was going to guess that "hand, foot and mouth" disease except it was a pit which wouldn't really make sense...anyway. Thanks for telling us the answer. I hope it's the washable kind.

Yes, voice lessons would be really fun. Way to develop your talents!
