Back to Basics

 I started writing my novel again.  I felt inspired during conference, of all times, about how to fix the plot and character problems I encountered.  It feels so good.  My main character is now more likable, the father isn't physically abusive as a plot point, and there is more emotion and meaning in the conversations.  I am so happy that God knew I needed a boon to my confidence.
 I also read a great book yesterday, Closing In by Kerry Blair.  Although the characters in this book are too perfect, I loved that they overcame the obstacles put in their paths.  I also liked that I figured out the plot twist.  It helps me feel smart when I can stay one step ahead of the story.  I don't like to feel upset by the things I read; my life is already upsetting enough.  

Sweet boy had a rough day and fell asleep eating his dinner.  He woke up about twenty minutes later and was disoriented and upset.  Poor guy.
