Wow, has it really been over a week since my last blog? OK, so I fell off the earth and stayed in my jim jams all week. I am going to go see my doctor. In the mean time I'll fill you in on the highlights of my time in the lowlands.
My trip was fabulous. We hung out and became best friends again. I have discovered that I sleep much better than the rest of my family because I do not stay up all night talking, nor do I have so many worries that I can't sleep. What a relief; I thought I had it bad. Now I can look on the bright side and not feel so sorry for myself. Family is so important to me. I am so glad that I have a great family. Most people I know luck out with one strong side to their family, but I feel doubly blessed with two excellent sides.
I came home to happy children and a happy husband. I don't think anybody who stayed home went to church, but my sweet heart. I am so blessed.
General Conference was a huge boon for me. I love to hear our prophets and other leaders speak. Sometimes I fall asleep, but this time we watched the sign language channel with interpreters sitting along side a projection of the speakers. The interpreters use over-exaggerated facial expressions to convey the speakers tone of voice. We laughed really hard as well as felt edified. I recommend channel 5.3 during conference. It is worth your while.

ReplyDeleteGlad your party weekend was so fun. It's nice to get away sometimes---and coming home is often one of the nicest parts for me.
