As a side note, Big T accepts your challenge Megz. There will be a throw-down at the party; bring your best calculator. The winner gets to pick an extra piece of candy out of the losers bag.
I have come across an awesome find. It is called bountifulbaskets.org. Every two weeks you get to baskets of produce; one of fruits and one of vegetables. They are fresh and tasty. It is very inexpensive and the quality is outstanding. You can also get bread through them. If you have chickens you may never have to go to the store again. Ok, you will, but this will reduce the need drastically. If you help unload the truck and separate the orders you get extra produce. It is so great! $16.50 for two bushels can't be beat. My area is week A, Utah County is week B. Check it out. I hope it is in your area.
* I was interrupted just now by a call from our Dr. We have H1N1 at our house. We started treatment last night and will be all cured by Friday. No worries. We will take extra precautions so that we do not get anyone else sick. E is home from school today. Please, no friends. Mom and Dad are healthy, and we are doing fine.

Way to get your own immunity against the Swine.
ReplyDeleteThat bountiful basket thing sounds like a great thing. I always like the idea of eating a bushel of fruits and veggies, but sadly I'm afraid there'd be lots of waste.
