Crafty Saturday
Did you know that zero stores in Cedar City sell gold colored tiaras? Real, fake, it doesn't matter. Nobody had a crown for me to purchase that would match E's medieval princess costume I am spent all of Friday evening and Saturday afternoon/evening sewing. It is my best work yet and she needs accessories to complete the look. Alas, ebay has very expensive ones that I am not willing to fork out the dough for. Any suggestions?
I also made A a costume Friday afternoon. A's witch costume was not my best effort, however. She loves it, though, and wore it around the house the rest of the evening while cackling in a very non-scary manner.
Big T went repelling with the young men a few weeks ago. Here are some awesome shots of my awesome husband in action. I think the view is awesome as well.
my mom will be up in salt lake tonight for a week and a half, if she sees one I'll let you now how much and if you want her to get it. No promises tho.
ReplyDeleteWhat lucky kids to have a mom make their nice costumes. What's B going to be?
ReplyDeleteMaybe you can make one of those head dresses with gold necklaces? Not quite a tiara but I be you could make it stunning.
I hear Walmart has tiaras in the wedding section for a few bucks. Spray paint it gold, and voila!
ReplyDeleteThanks for all your suggestions. I'll give them a try. And yes, Learning Mom, have your mom check out SLC for me. Not more than $5 for a plastic one. Yes, I'm cheap. A real one, it might depend on the price and cuteness. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure I could find a Tiara in Disneyland....want me to check? :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like Big T is in trouble in the first rappel pic. He's gotta get that brake hand behind him. and speaking of behinds, I didn't see a great view in any of those shots. :P
Have a good day!
