A Big Thumbs Up for the End of 2010

  His expression sums up this last year.  We sit around counting our blessings.  It was one year ago exactly that we received the distinct impression that we should have another baby.  We obeyed and look at the blessings that come from being obedient.  I am not saying that it was in any way easy or that our lives are now perfect, but that we have been richly blessed throughout the entire year.
  In reverse order, here are some of the specifics as to why 2010 was so wonderful.

  *  Trent had a fantastic birthday on the 31st.  We just had a family party because none of our friends or family could come.  T and the kids went sledding and then the wii we ordered arrived sans games.  We bought a mini golf game, thanks to T's parents, and spent the evening improving our hand-eye coordination.  Inconsistency is still our skill level.

Mom stayed home from the sledding fun with the baby so that I could clean the house and actually get something done. The rest had a blast!

*  Christmas was wonderful!  We made a huge cookie man, thanks to Q and T, and presented the leftover to Santa with some cocoa.  The kids got everything on their lists because they were not allowed to put anything on their lists that Mom and Dad did not want them to have.  Everyone is happy that way.  T had Christmas Eve off and that made the day extra special.

*  Family visits were plentiful and joyous.  We cannot count the number of blessings we received because of our fantastic family.  We want to to be with our family forever and we are so grateful we can be.  Most people wouldn't want that blessing today and we our doubly lucky to want it more than anything else.
