Library Day

After walking, we took a neighbor boy home with us because he pointed at our house and tried to get out of the stroller. Since our house was clean, I had no problem with it. We agreed to meet at the library for story time. Well, none of our children wanted to listen to the story. They wandered around, played with the toys, took movies and books off the shelves, anything but listen and sit quietly. Oh well, we tried. A loved the craft. A giraffe with a lengthening neck. Yes, there are green giraffes--according to A. My sweet friend cut out the giraffe for me much better than I would have done while I cut out Sweet Boy's. His is already destroyed. After craft, they enjoyed a sucker as we rushed home for lunch. A caught her bus just in time and I had time to tidy up and read a great book. Kerry Blair writes books after my own heart, sometimes. Read them if you like relationship fiction with a little mystery thrown in. The house is still tidy, by the way.
Our story time craft is always just a coloring page to take home. Not nearly as exciting as a green giraffe!
