Still Tidy
So we really worked on Saturday, harder than we have in a long time. Example, I mopped the floor twice. Well, we decided since everything was so clean it would be easier to keep it clean now. Amazingly enough, it is still clean. I even helped Big T with his only chore--the dishes--last night. My Visiting Teachers can even come over and actually come inside. I haven't been this pleased with my efforts in a long time.
I just took some pictures to prove my point and noticed they proved the opposite. I have a long way to go before my house is a clean as I really like it. You see, I love a clean house, but I get overwhelmed and then I give up. So the plan is to not let it get overwhelming by keeping the large areas tidy, then do a little more each day until everything is tidy. Next item on my list--get the carpets cleaned.

Congratulations!!! Wish I could get my house clean. Maybe I'll get some done this week while I'm stuck at home.

ReplyDeleteI always need some outside motivation to clean so I ask my visiting teachers to come once a week to keep me on my toes. Just kidding.
