Eye Dr

So this morning I actually woke up with Big T and got ready for the day (hence the reason my walking partners desperately missed me).  No, nothing noble.  Esther had an eye appointment before school and I had to be ready to leave the house with four children by 7 am.  All went well and nobody pooped anywhere.  Esther would not benefit from glasses and she behaved herself beautifully.  Dr. A was charmed by my adorable children and gave them all eyeball gum-balls.  A wanted E to get glasses and was rather disappointed she didn't need them.  He gave her some fancy after-your-eye-appointment sunglasses and she was mollified.  He is the best eye doctor I have ever been to.  B loves him; he is funny and actually can tell what is wrong with people's vision.  Instead of patching B's eye for another year and have it do nothing until he needed surgery, Dr. A put a prism in his glasses (which he actually did need) which fixes the lazy eye as well as his other problems.  So, today's post is about finding quality medical professionals and sticking with them instead of going to Wal-mart for your every need.

  1. What, you mean I shouldn't get my womanly checkup at WalMart? Good to know...
PS The chicken broccoli casserole tastes just fine with Miracle Whip!

  2. I love to shop else where beside Walmart if I can afford it! I've never had to have an eye exam and the idea of it terrifies me so if I ever have to I'll remember who to go to!
