Yesterday the wind blew really hard for about five minutes. I heard a whump, whump sound and just thought the wind was blowing against the shed. Oh no, it was the sound of the shed being ripped out of the ground and blown into our weedy garden. I'm glad we gave up the garden fight and let the weeds grow, or our shed would have blown out of the yard. (Nothing grew except 1 head of lettuce. We'll do better next year.) Everything fell off the shelves, knocked over the bikes, and piled our gardening tools. The wind was so strong it even blew the doors off their tracks.
This is one mess Big T will be in charge of sorting out. His shed, his mess. Fair, right? Ok, maybe I'll help. It will have to stay that way for a bit, though. Big T has an honor camp this weekend, so we will be having something fun for dinner and stay up late watching a great movie. I think it is a good tradition when the man of the house is away.
That's a big wind. Have fun with the husband gone!
