All Is Not Lost

  She Found Me!!!

     Remember the time she blogged about painting at scouts?  She had put me away from the mess then forgotten she had worn me.  Too many things on her mind, I guess.  She is forgiven. 

     I am so relieved my coat is no longer lost and she forgives me.  The Den Leader get tons of boys at her house and she thought it was one of theirs since they are always leaving things.  Here is a big plug for LOST posters; they really work.  Big squeal of happiness.

       I spent most of the day yesterday holding the Baby.  Now that he is getting older, he is more difficult to read.  He sleeps less during the day and I can't tell if he is hungry or tired.  I think I have lost my touch as a mother of a newborn.  He has spoiled me because of his perfect adherence to his schedule and now that he is deviating, I have no idea what he is trying to tell me.

     It happened again this morning while I was sorting through all of our Thomas the Tank Engine tracks and separating the blue from the brown.  We have too many and I now do not feel an emotional connection to them anymore.  J.D. kept fussing every time I put him down.  He is finally asleep and I had time to finish the sorting.  As everyone knows, if you sort through the tracks you have to combine them into something fun as well.  I connected most of the ones we want to keep and made one really cool track circuit. 

      It is called Action Canyon and Spin and Fix Thomas.  I keep trying to do other things and Sweet Boy keeps saying things like, "Play with me, Mom."  How can I refuse.  I will clean the living room later (probably right before the ladies get here to practice our song for tonight).  Have fun playing with your kids today.
