Doctors and Family Fun

Before I get to the real post, Baby had a 4 month well child check-up.  He is growing and healthy.  He is rolling over, smiling, grabbing his toes, and playing with toys.  He weighs over 14 lbs and taller, I forget by how much.  Too many numbers to keep track of.  His favorite toys are his giraffe and pony named Sir Prance-a-lot.  How cute.  The other kids had checkups as well and they are healthy.  What a blessing to have healthy and strong kids.  Many people don't and I count my blessings daily.

Next:  Did you know that we are a fun family and that we take advantage of free food.  Oh yes, we like free pizza and pop, especially when it is combined with free fun time inflatables.  Poor Sweet Boy he was too young to participate in the bouncy houses, but he did get to go to the nursery and play with the lincoln logs and make a penne pasta necklace that he stepped on because he didn't want to leave.  Confused yet?
We had a community night at the high school and they have all these fun activities so that the parents will come listen to a presentation about community awareness.  The presentation was not well attended.  People just came for the free stuff.  I enjoyed to program.  It was about a new area website about preventing drug use and pornography viewing.  www.southwestprevention.com is a great resource for all community members of Southern Utah to find out what to do if anyone you know is in some kind of trouble.  I highly recommend you check it out.  It is very well done and highly researched.  If you want to know what to do with leftover prescription drugs--they will tell you.  If you want to keep all the explicit spam off your email--they will tell you how.  They have FAQ's answered by several top professionals and if your question is not there, you can ask them one and they will ask the proper specialists for you.  I haven't had much time to peruse it, but I will definitely be returning again and again.

  1. Free stuff is great. I love how they knew how to bribe people to get them to sit through their presentation. It sounded a lot more worthwhile than sitting through a timeshare presentation like I did once just to get a 50 buck gift card to Nordstroms....
