Have You Seen Me?

| This isn't my exact coat, but it is close enough. |
I am a beautiful black wool coat that has only been used for half of two winter seasons. I have silver buckles at my waist and front pockets. I zip all the way up and I have a lovely hood. I went missing a week or two ago and my owner has looked everywhere in her house and cannot find me. Woe to her. She really misses me and is very worried about me. I am her favorite coat of all time and she will freeze without me. She is cleaning and organizing her house, but, alas, I am still gone. Did she lose me at Stake Conference? Maybe. She didn't leave me at her ward building. Wal-mart? Absolutely not! Lin's? Doubtful. Beals? I think I was lost before then. She didn't leave me at the Valentine's dance. If she cannot find me at the church she attended for Stake Conference she will have to organize a search party. She thought she came into the house, threw me off and ran to the bathroom, then forgot to hang me up. After that she cannot remember seeing me.
Arrgggg! How could she have lost me if she loves me so much? Doesn't she care anymore. How could she be so careless and disrespectful? What a moron and other mean names! If she doesn't find me soon she will fall into a heap and cry. Please contact her if you have seen me and save her an immense amount of grief and self-depreciating remarks. Thanks.
On a completely unrelated subject. Her son, B, is having his first birthday party. This is an approximation of the invitation she created for him:
"Eye" hope to
see you at my
birthday party!
Irresistible, huh? I would go to this party even if I didn't know the kid.
The party will be at McDonald's on Friday after school. He is so excited. If my owner could find me before then she would be thrilled. "Eye" hope to see some of you on Saturday at his baptism. Until then, she will be frantic.

I am so sorry for your loss. If you find your coat can you ask it if it knows where my awesome accordian-style coupon binder is? thanks!
ReplyDeleteI hate losing things! I always think and think trying to figure out where it went and I look in the same spots over and over. Most of the time things turn up. I hope your coat does since it is a favorite thing.
