We met at church because my friend said that Big T was one of the good guys in high school and that I had to meet him. We did meet and he ignored me for two months. After he asked me out, finally, it took that same friend to invite him to parties then ditch me so that he would have to take me home. I think Big T would have chosen to be in my presence anyway, but she probably hurried him along. By the time he found out I was crazy it was too late and we were married. Poor guy, he didn't know what he was getting into. He has stuck it out and found kind things to think about me. For example, he thinks I am funny. He also thinks I smell good after I bathe. Big T loves that I find humor in many things and loves that I love reading Calvin and Hobbes books and bought them for $0.01 on Amazon. When the Stake President put him on the spot and asked him what he liked best about me, it took him a long time to say anything. I am going take that as a compliment: I am so talented and lovely that he couldn't decide what his favorite thing was.
He now gets out of bed in the middle of the night to take care of crying children, he does the dishes without complaint, and he makes the funniest noises when playing with the baby. My favorite thing about Big T is his commitment. He does not give up when things do not turn out the way he wants them to. He sticks it out because he made a promise and nothing is going to make him break that promise. He also has a nice booty. I will stop there before I say too much about the Heelis physique, you lucky ducks, you.
Thank you, Big T, for the best years of my life. Here's to eleven more.

Wow- that is so nice. I need to be prepared to have a "favorite thing about your spouse" comment at moment's notice.
ReplyDeleteI thought Trent had a Heelis booty, which is flat? The Christensen side has bigger booties, which I received. Not sure which brothers, if any, got one. Next time you'll have to ask big T to wear tight pants so I can see if his bum is flat or not..
