The Best Sunday of the Year

Last Sunday we participated in the Primary presentation in Sacrament Meeting.  This Sunday is always my favorite one of the year.  Nose picking, swaying, and all that jazz is the perfect companion for an enjoyable meeting.  A covered her face when she saw us looking at her because if she couldn't see us then we couldn't see her.  Too cute.  One teacher fell asleep twice, and a kid in B's class kept making houses out of his hands in front of his face.  Our two minute FHE lesson part of the program went well, except for A grabbing the mic, pulling on the mic, then getting bored and trying to climb up the rostrum.  The kids had their lines memorized and delivered them well.  The best moment was when a family shared a poem they wrote about wanting to be an eternal family.  The mother began crying and you could feel how much she loved her family and wanted to be with them forever.  Once again--I truly enjoyed the day.

  1. I missed our program this year during the quick insane trip to Colorado... Didn't realize how much I missed it until it was over. Although I'm not sure it would have been fun since I would have been directing the music :(

  2. I was so bummed when we realized we wouldn't be making it home for it :( Seeing the little ones perform is always a sweet thing

  4. I'm with you--it was wonderful sending the 3 boys up to the stand so their teachers could be responsible for them during our program.
My favorite was last year when Mitch began playing with his fingers and flipped off the audience. Hopefully everyone knew he was unaware of the dangerous meaning of Tall Man.
