Spelling Is Not My Forte

I am sure you can tell, but the spell checker is my best friend.  I have to often ask Big T how to spell first grade words.  Ask me a science question (Okay, don't really; I've been out of school a looooong time) and I can spout of details learned long ago (sometimes).  But give me a spelling bee and I flop.  What are your best and worst subjects?  What traits did you marry for future homework help?

Alright, Megz, think "Napoleon Dynamite" where the school children are traumatized by the cow incident, only NOT funny.
A Learning Mom:  we have craft day on every other Monday at the house of whoever is hosting.  Lately we have been trying to silk screen t-shirts and bags, but after two unsuccessful attempts, who knows when we will do it again.  I would love to host a beaded watch craft day next time we try something new.

  1. I have been surprised how much I've forgotten how to spell. Maybe if we had weekly spelling tests like the kids then we could regain some of our elementary school prowess.

  2. Spelling is one of my best subjects. But really who needs it when you've got spell checker!
I wish I was better at math. I'm sure Trent is handy in that subject too.
