Vacuums Suck

Yes, the title is a little risque, but it says what I mean.  The suction on my vacuum is not all that great lately.  My house feels so dirty and dusty even though I vacuumed a lot.  Just as I am feeling this, we are accosted by a vacuum salesman.  O.K., not accosted, but tricked.  We didn't know it was a sales pitch we agreed to listen to; we were told it was more of an opinion they were seeking.  The air filter was amazing and it even gets rid of most viruses.  I'm all for that.  Then he whipped out the vacuum.  Wow!  That thing really sucks.  I wanted it soooo much.  He then told us the price.  I choked on my own surprise.  The filter was $1,000 and the vacuum was over $3,000.  I thought he said that it would be comfortably affordable.  He must of meant the monthly payments.  That is not something we feel is wise, so say good bye to a clean house and hello to my germy, dusty, dirty house even though I clean (sometimes).

  1. I didn't know vacuum salesman still came around. Dang--if I had a vacuum that expensive it'd better do more than vacuum. Maybe if it could do the dishes and laundry and then I'd fork over the dough.

  2. I'll stick with my cheap $70 dollar vacuum I got when Adam and I got married 4 years ago. Still works and running strong despite Elijah helping me vacuum.
