Craft Fair

E's school choir performed at the high school drill team craft fair fund raiser.  They sang really well and I was so thrilled.  After we wandered around the fair and saw some beautiful quilts, beaded watches, twisty turbans, candles, and many other handicrafts.  I could not walk away from the pottery booth.  This beautiful sauce bowl will never see sauce.  But it will be displayed on my book case.  E's choir performed again today at the school.  Sweet Boy ran up and down the isle until I'd had enough and we left.  Sorry E, our disruption was too much for me to handle.  I did snap a few poor quality pictures.  She is the one with the yellow flower in her hair in the second to last row.

I also had craft day this morning, but left without completing it because of a problem with a cow.  If you want to know the full story you have to call and ask, too graphic for my G rated (except for my typo) blog.  I hope my friend's problem is solved soon and that she can feel peace in her situation.

  1. OK so set me straight. What time do you do craft day. Every time I think I can go, there isn't any one over there. Elijah gets on the bus at 8:10 and doesn't get home till 12:10ish on Mondays and Wednesdays now, so I can come.

  2. I think I'd be getting myself in a lot of trouble if my kids were performing at craft fairs... and not because of kids in the aisles :) I like your new bowl :)

  3. Good job on the singing E. Way to put a yellow flower in her hair so she's easily identifiable.
You could totally tell agriculture cow stories on your blog--you talked about your underwire bra before, remember?
